hello there,
nice to meet you
I’m a designer who cares about crafting inclusive and impactful solutions through research and collaboration. I feel most motivated when I am handed a complex problem that requires critical thinking and innovative approaches, allowing me to push boundaries and discover new possibilities.
my story
Curiosity brought me here
I decided to pursue engineering when I was younger as I was told that engineers solve problems. This drew me in as I was always interested in looking at complex puzzles and finding a way through it. During my degree, I was involved in multiple projects but what I was most interested in was my project with HuskyAdapt where it is an organisation that adapts toys for children with disability. I realised that it was not problems I want to solve, but impact that I want to create through the solution. This was when I started looking at my career seriously and questioned if I truly intend to pursue engineering when I feel disconnected to the problems I wanted to solve.
After much soul searching (seeing what kind of work is similar to HuskyAdapt), I found design thinking which lead me to human-centred design which lead me to UX design - a world of solving problems for people while being creative, innovative and collaborative.
From then on, it was an exponential journey of learning where I self-taught myself to become a UI/UX Designer.
This turned into deeper learning as I hold my first position as a Product Designer at a social enterprise called Mereka. Hired by a manager that saw the potential in me, I was trained, taught and evaluated to become a lead while also supporting different projects across the company.
At some point, I felt the gap in my skills and so I decided to pursue a Masters in Design, Disability and Innovation. This experience tested my knowledge, creativity and critical thinking skills as I learn to solve and design for disability inclusion. During this time, I pursued freelancing part time to keep up with the trends and best practices in UI/UX which gave me opportunity to further honed my craft in the field and work across different industries.
In summary, my career has been a journey of continuous learning and growth through collaboration with inspiring individuals. I’m excited about the opportunity to continue this journey alongside you.

UX Strategy
From my early exposure at a startup where I worked closely with stakeholders, potential clients and users to align business goals and user needs to craft meaningful user experience. Since then, I’ve made it a priority to be involved in business decisions, as I believe that understanding diverse perspectives enriches my ability to contribute effectively and see the bigger picture.
Research and Innovation
I have honed my craft in research and analytical skills while doing my Masters in Design, Disability and Innovation. I was involved in multiple projects that required me to think critically and empathetically to solve complex problems through detailed research and collaborative efforts.
Systems Thinking
Learning to design for disability inclusion, I became aware of the intricate systems and environments at play. This experience taught me the importance of evaluating how these systems influence and interact with one another, guiding me to create more thoughtful and inclusive designs.
